Many years ago (1989), as a newly widowed mom of two little kids (ages 6 & 4), I moved to Concord for a new job. Shortly after settling in, I went looking for a church community and found St. Bonaventure. Through some exciting adventures (group camping in Lake Tahoe), and some life-changing experiences (RCIA and Cursillo), I knew I had found a wonderful and supportive home. In the intervening years, I have moved several times, but each time, the first priority was to be within the St. Bonaventure parish. I even had the great pleasure of having Fr. Richard presiding at my marriage to my hubby, Darrell.
The large variety of ministries at St. Bonaventure all have their appeal and I have had the great joy of participating in many of them, BonFire, Adult Confirmation, RCIA, Lectoring, Minister of Hospitality, Eucharistic Minister are some that stand out as particularly meaningful to me.
Please don’t hesitate to stop me and say “Howdy!" I look forward to hearing about your experience at St. Bonaventure and want you to let me know if I can be of any help to you through the Parish Council.
