COUPLES WHO ARE MARRIED CIVILLY AND WANT TO BE MARRIED IN THE CHURCH

We are pleased to inform you that St. Bonaventure will celebrate a Communal Wedding Ceremony on October 12 at 12 :00pm in English and 2:00pm in Spanish. This is an opportunity for several couples to get married in the Church in a single ceremony at a reduced price. If you are married only civilly or have never been married before and are interested in learning more about the requirements and process, please contact Rocio Polanco (925) 678-5800×2201 or Fr. What do you need to do? What do you need to know? Those who come forward will help decide on details and specifics of the celebration.
Items:

• Some form of personal preparation to be decided on with clergy you are working with.
• Normal application forms for being married in the church need to be filled out.

• Normal witness forms need to be filled out.
• Selection of two official witnesses is required.
• The Blessing of the Marriage will be entered into St. Bonaventure’s Marriage Register
• The couple may invite as many guests as they wish
• Couples will help prepare the ceremony and reception.
