I want to thank the many parishioners who have helped us reach 94% of our 2024 Bishop's Ministries Appeal. Like last year, let's get to 100% of the goal and exceed it like last year. All the excess comes back to us, which allowed us this year to install a system to assist those with a hearing aid to listen to the Mass via an app on their phones. We need to collect a little more than $12,000 to reach our goal. The Bishop's Ministries Appeal goes directly to programs and services that help our future priests in formation, our parish faith formation mentors, our CYO coordinators, our retired priests, and especially parishes not as well off as we are.
I urge you to please be part of reaching, and hopefully exceeding, our goal. Full details can be found below. Remember, 100% of all donations collected in excess of our goal come back to the parish. We used part of our refund for last year's Appeal to upgrade our sound system so people with bluetooth-capable hearing aids can listen to the Mass on their hearing aids in our church.
New for the 2024 Bishop's Ministries Appeal is our "750 Club". All persons who donate $750 or more to this year's Appeal will receive an invitation to join a special reception in recognition of their generosity in the first quarter of 2025. Please consider joining the "Club", and thanks again to all of you for your support!
