The process for Adults Becoming Catholic is formally called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This formation process is for adults interested in becoming Catholic or thinking about being baptized.
This process is for:
-adults baptized in another Christian tradition,
-baptized Catholic adults who want to prepare to receive confirmation AND first Communion.
Typically there is a meeting once a week throughout the process composed of three to four phases. The group will meet Sundays, 3:00pm-4:45pm beginning September 18, with full initiation at the Easter Vigil (April 15, 2017). The process is group and community based, and progress is marked with community rituals. Each individual's journey is unique, so spiritual discernment is an important element of the process. We will meet in the Rectory Conference Room. click here for schedule (subject to change)
